PROFILE:
Affordable Housing Investment Corporation was founded in 2010 by its currently Managing Director; Mr. Alex Van Boven working towards finding solutions to offer low affordable housing plans to low income earners in Africa. He met an engineer / architect, Mr. Sheikh Tijan Sallah from the Republic of The Gambia and Mr. Hassan Kelvin Bangura from the Republic of Sierre Leone in the same year, to continue the project research and implementation in the Republic of Sierra Leone.
Within a span of its inception, the company matured to a modern type civil engineering and construction company. It has so far developed a new technology called 3D panel construction, that makes it uptake its concept of affordability and quality building styles. It has always got its plans to start implementing this project in the Republic of Sierra Leone.
It is a company that aims at providing shelter to developing countries within the west coast regions. We are involve in residential, commercial and institutional buildings, and also developing tourism sectors with our great designs to suit every tourist living and accomodation preferences.
HOW WE WORK:
Afhousing has a great flexibility to work with its clients. Finance schemes and programs are provided for clients who wish to finance or prefinance a propose house at any location in Sierra Leone.
The availability of payment terms makes it much better for people who wish to construct in phase payments. Our planning department shall make a budget with a work program to further enable our clients to realise their dreams of owning a house of their choice.
We diversify our work programs and always give priority to clients who already have an allocated plot of land, their he/she will only need one of our great design samples to build for his/her home. A quantity survey / budget shall be conducted as the second, and shall always work with the client to meet his/her styles and preferences.
In most of our sample designs, a delivered house is on a turn-key base, and renders a marginal variation cost for civil / landscaping works with a choosen style and design by the client.
Kitchen units shall also be a variation cost, and the client should give his/her preferences on which the standard materials shall be used to deliver in a short period of time.
